Pros

Great friendly management that wants to help you grow, full time hours, they provide the equipment, boss is actually committing to being a good boss

Cons

No PTO, low pay, you can almost NEVER take time off or they'll get onto you, very little work/life balance, still using broken software for their team communication, very little interaction with other employees depending on project assigned

Pros

- Structure and environment get you accustomed to working in tech and gain experience with development tools. - Remote work is fantastic. - Enjoyable work environment and likeable people. - Interesting project variety and direct client contact.

Cons

- Project quality. Some are awful to work on and some are excellent, the work environment is different for each one. Management will move people if they request it, but that means revolving doors on the lower quality ones. - You're only given a basic training in company policies and basic procedures. Nonexistent training for individual projects translates into unclear expectations and confusion, and can compromise relationships with the client - Small-town pay doesn't go very far outside of Cookeville. Get a roommate, live with significant others, or have a second income if you want to work here and live anywhere else in Tennessee - Restrictive policies are good for certain projects but limit communication and potential cooperation between client and employee.
