Pros

- Job itself was easy but did get tedious after the first week. - Free food every once in a while.

Cons

The Team Leads can be rather passive-aggressive and antisocial. It is hard to ask someone to review your work if you're afraid that they're going to mock you.

Pros

A great mixture of a relaxed yet professional working environment. My fellow employees are friendly and most of the management crew is approachable. Especially the hiring manager who sits up front. I think she may actually be one of the owners but she is always willing to help people out.

Cons

I wish I could listen to my own music while testing but I guess I kinda understand that we can't because we have to test audio on the products as well.

Pros

If you are thinking of going into QA testing, if you are in school, if it is something you want to try out, this is the place to begin. The interview process is insanely easy. Free coffee, and the occasional snack/dinner. The leads may have a difficult time with email approvals and issue verification (nothing gets sent without reviews), but the way they put professionalism and clarity into your daily work life will put you steps over other workers in future jobs. No other place I have worked at has been this particular on what leads do, I am leaps ahead of people in higher positions than where I am.

Cons

The cons weigh out the pros by tons. Management feels they are better than anyone working there, sweatshop of the aspiring QA tester, the owner/boss will do everything in his power to avoid talking with workers or just saying good morning/good night. If you get the chance to be lead, do not take it. I had multiple issues with the "boss" when I would not do something requested by him and 2 days later get reamed by him as to why I didn't do it. Management/bosses will throw anyone under the bus to save their own behinds, the blame will get shifted to whoever won't fight back. There is 0 room for growth, you are either a tester or a lead tester with a $1.00 raise.
