Pros

The company has been great about letting us work from home during COVID and no pressure to go back into the office. The company purchased a subscription to Udemy and encourages employees to take any course - personal or professional.

Cons

The company relocated the office 22 miles without any input from the employees that commute. My department does not communicate well and it sometimes feels like a hostile work environment from an inexperienced manager and offers no career growth. A lot of blindside layoffs. Inexperienced HR team.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your point of view on life at Digital.ai. We listen, respond and attempt to make changes based on what our people have to say. We use the feedback to look for ways to make changes that will further employee satisfaction, our mission and goals. Over the last several months, we've created several ways for employees to communicate with management - via Slack, monthly meetings with the CEO or monthly meetings with each executive, please feel free to provide direct feedback or comments if you are comfortable doing so.

Pros

Seems like they are trying to do the right thing with employees in terms of benefits and culture (unlimited vacation, cross skilling opportunities, etc)

Cons

Not much effective communication. senior leaders do not appear to be on same page with what is communicated by CEO. Losing the focus on agility. They speak the language but do not seem to practice it. Thick layers of leadership with very thin layers below to actually pull thru the work.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your candor and take all employee feedback seriously. As it relates to communication being a challenge within the company , we encourage employees to meet one on one with their managers and up and across their management chain. Over the last several months, we've also created various forums for employees to engage directly with leadership via monthly calls where each Executive spends 30 minutes sharing updates about what is going on in their respective area of the business. Communication is key in any company and we are committed to being open and transparent.

Pros

This has been one of my least stressful jobs. Company seems stable only because of TPG Capital investments. The CEO is generous with benefits to keep employee's onboard. Some of the companies purchased by TPG Capital are quality.

Cons

A lot of senior management is composed of friends of the CEO. They have no clue how bad it is on the ground floor. Many company wide policies are still not defined 6 months after the mergers. They create plans in a vacuum and do not understand how challenging or time consuming they will be. Anyone who is talented has left or will leave soon.
