Pros
A genuine interest in helping each other and maintaining a good work environment and balance with life outside of work in the vast majority of people I've worked with here, as well as the company providing ways to help the world at large through matching programs and other initiatives.
Cons
If you're coming from something in the larger corporate world, you may be thrown off by the lack of processes or consistent processes in place for some things, and spend time trying to make sure things are done in the best way as a result.
