      Pros

      DigitalOcean is a great place to work. Although the company is growing quickly, the feeling of being with family has not changed at all. I feel I can trust each and every one of my coworkers, as well as the executives, and that's a great feeling. The benefits are great, the pay is fair, and there are a ton of opportunities to advance.

      Cons

      The company is growing very quickly. I love the growth, and the (at times) chaos. Meeting new people is amazing and the company tends to make great hiring decisions. However, it's not necessarily for everyone, and the interview process can be a bit long at times.

      Pros

      IC’s enjoy collaborating. Friendly and supportive community among the lower levels of IC and management.

      Cons

      Poor executive leadership. Upper management shows very little trust in engineers. Poor engineering culture, no investment or time put into experimentation or POC’s. Constantly fighting escalations and incidents. Very little recognition or rewards.
