Pros

Abundant PTOs (if you can use them up before the year ends)

Cons

Very tough work when it's busy. You'll have to do more jobs than what's told in the DP and for other teams including Customer Success, SRE, etc., meanwhile, customer support isn't valued and is the most disposable. Also, some staff at other departments don't have enough respect for the Support. And if you are employed in Customer Support, you can hardly change your role, you were promised to choose your career path freely in this newly established Europe Hub, and then you would be told everything is pending. Also, in the training video about working healthily you're told to leave the computer frequently and stretch yourself, while in the practice, you are simply chained to the desk and are not allowed to leave for more than 5 minutes.

We appreciate you taking the time to offer your feedback. It’s great that you appreciate the paid time off we offer, and we hope you also leverage the range of other benefits available, from our Employee Resource Groups to meeting-free days. However, we are sorry to hear the rest of your feedback, as this is not the experience we strive to deliver. As a fast-growing company, we do have high performance expectations, but workload shouldn’t be overwhelming, and we are actively working to improve this through more enablement and training, bringing on more team members, and streamlining processes and workflows. We take great pride in offering concierge-level customer service experience, this is a core aspect of who we are as an organization and we deeply value our Support team as the front line of assistance to our customers. We want to make sure we are equipping our employees to strike a sustainable balance and provide the best support for our clients. We also recognize that clear career development opportunities are important for retaining top talent at Diligent, and our recently launched Career Talk webinars were designed to showcase employees who share details on their career journey and how they’ve progressed at Diligent. We will make sure to take this overall feedback on and work closely with the Support team to identify opportunities to improve. If you have suggestions or concerns regarding your work environment, career path or team support, please do reach out to your manager or any member of the ELT. We’re happy to take your ideas on board as we continue working to improve. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for your hard work at Diligent. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer

Pros

It depends on who you ask, some Hungary / India teammates may love the org, and rightfully so, because all the talent is moved there now.

Cons

Ever since the CEO started the pet project of relocating talent to overseas two years ago, the company has been in shambles. Job security is at near zero, morale is all time low, talented people all left and now senior leaders are also leaving. Just in 2022 alone there was the departure of CFO, Chief Product Officer and multiple VP level. The remaining people either cannot find other jobs, or feel too comfortable and wish to 'coast'. How can an organization succeed when the bread and butter of your talent all have one foot out the door?

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re sorry to hear your feedback, and it sounds like there is more we could do to support you. We are a rapidly expanding company with ambitious goals, and we recognize how much change we’ve undergone in the past several years. Following acquisitions and other major transitions, there is natural turnover that often occurs at all levels of the organization. For those who leave voluntarily, we’re continuously learning and working to improve our offerings and our culture across our locations. That said, we are also excited to see a number of former colleagues return to Diligent! Regardless, we understand that losing colleagues and leaders can be difficult, no matter how they depart the business. Any decisions related to talent are not made lightly—we deeply value our team members, their expertise and their commitment to serving our clients. As we continue to grow and scale our team, we are also investing in extensive onboarding, training and enablement to equip our employees for success and retain talent across all levels of the organization. Our goal is to build upon a supportive culture within our teams and empower our employees to serve our clients optimally. We’re creating something new and ambitious, and we have enormous expectations for what our team can accomplish. We may not always get it right, but we strive to learn as we grow and get closer to our exciting goals. We truly appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration going forward. If you have specific ideas on how we can improve in this area, I’d encourage you to speak with your manager or email hrconfidential@diligent.com. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and for your hard work at Diligent. - Avigail Dadone, Chief People Officer
