      Discord focuses on building community. Remote work is amazing.

      Cons

      However, their operations within different departments started to struggle due to many org shifts. Unfortunately, there are some leaders that decided to be dishonest when they dropped the ball and blame employees

      - Enthusiastic User Base - Lots of interesting technical challenges - Interesting tech to work with (Elixir, Rust, etc)

      Cons

      - Lots of product churn - Toxic Positivity - Middle management has high variability in quality. - Workloads are not fair, some teams are over staffed, some under staffed. Oncall and Interview duties are not fairly distributed.
