Pros

I love my team at Discord. Everyone is super kind, respectful, and works really hard. We all see the value in working collaboratively and getting to where we want/need to go. Benefits and Perks are amazing! It shows they truly care about the wellbeing of our employees.

Cons

The company was provided a summer break (1 week) in 2021, and given the volume of work and growth the company is experiencing, I think it would be beneficial to provide a similar break to our employees. I know this is a very nice to have, but it would really improve employee engagement.

- Mission-driven company (but, for real) in trying to build belonging for our users - Commitment to proactively ban harmful content - Very smart coworkers across all teams - Lots of company and individual growth potential - Super remote friendly on many/most teams

Cons

- Hyper growth in headcount/users means some chaos in learning/distributing information

There isnt one person in the company that doesnt actively want to help or want to see you succeed. if there is a negative person, the positive people over pressure them to be nice.
