There is a lot of room for advancement and the company as a whole works well with school schedules. they also give out Christmas and summer bonus to all employs.

Cons

some of the managers tend to lack managerial skills also DTC pretty much rules your entire life while you work there long hours.

Discount Tire is a fantastic company, that really cares about their employees. There are many opportunities to move up and build a career.

Cons

My store manager did not fit this mold. He was abrasive, which led to a difficult and stressful work environment. Everything had to be done at light speed, and the smallest things would set him off.

Flexible hours. Slightly above average hourly pay for retail specific. Slightly intense physical labor so you will definitely stay in shape. Annual bonus and some tuition reimbursement.

Cons

Pay does not compensate for the amount of work expected. Apart from lunch, breaks are frowned upon. Dealing with arrogant and obnoxious customers.
