Pros

Strong operational and risk-management culture - Discover appears to place significant emphasis on governance, documentation, audit readiness, and disciplined execution. This can provide stability and clear accountability.

Cons

Organizational change created uncertainty - The Capital One acquisition and integration contributed to shifting priorities, role uncertainty, restructuring, heavier workloads, and a lack of long-term job stability.

Pros

Before Discover fully merged with Capital One, it was a great place to work. There were great benefits and the day to day moved smoothly.

Cons

After Capital One took over, there were constant changes, not enough information given to employees, and we were basically switching leadership all the time.
