I love what I do, but I simply don't get paid enough.

Pros

The people, I love all of my fellow cast members. The people I work with are like family! I also love my work environment, it's amazing to be in the parks everyday. It's a unique job in the sense that we make magic and see it in our guests faces. It's very rewarding.

Cons

It's difficult to move up unless you are willing to wait years. I have applied for full time 3 times and been denied. I work over 40 hours and receive no medical benefits. Some guests can be awful, they treat you as if you were not a person. I don't get paid enough.

Pros

Unlimited access to the theme parks, great relationships with co-workers, fun interactions with guests.

Cons

Scheduling can be rough. Though I've been with the company for over 12 years, I still have difficulty getting the shifts I prefer/need. The pay is awful considering the amount of work required. Many of our guests have never worked in the service industry and they can get a bit unruly, bordering on abusive sometimes. Very little opportunity to move up within the company--unless you "play the game"/are a brown noser.
