Don't Work Here

Pros

The only pro was my co-workers. Literally, that's it. There is absolutely nothing positive with working here.

Cons

Honestly, where do I start. This is an honest and realistic review of the company. I have over 15+ years of experience and in my entire professional career, I've never seen unorganized, chaotic, uneducated, immature behavior until I've worked at this company. Please, no matter how desperate you are for a job, DO NOT, under no circumstance accept a job from this company. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. The HR Dept is an entire joke. You ask questions about benefits and no one can give you an accurate answer. They've constantly messed up my paycheck and have the audacity to tell me I need to wait at least two weeks for a replacement check. Mind you, this was their mistake. This company pushes you to work way beyond 50 hours a week so you can "stand out" and be a "great team player". I was on bereavement leave, and my manager had the nerve to call me to tell me to jump on a call real quick while I'm mourning. When I refused, I came back to him placing me on a PIP. This company pays you the lowest they can and try to maximize the amount of time and effort they get from you. The benefits plan is extremely expensive so if you enroll, be prepared to say goodbye to half of you check. This company does A LOT of illegal and shady business practices (discrimination, racism, pay disparity, etc) and try to cover it up by firing/laying you off. They DO NOT reward hard work. You'll forever be doing a three person job for low pay. If you're looking for a stable career, this isn't it. They've done silent layoffs, every single year. They're always looking to outsource your job to someone in another country who can do it cheaper. They don't even disclose that your private information (social security and other personal info) is being processed overseas.

Pros

It's a great chance to start a career in aviation with a supportive, skilled team. The starting salary, including shift allowance, is $2500, and there’s plenty of overtime available. It’s a good place to earn money, especially for those living in Singapore without family commitments.

Cons

The ramp team faces challenges in achieving work-life balance due to an irregular schedule, which includes day, afternoon, and night shifts within the same week, impacting sleep patterns. While two days off are provided, staffing shortages may require employees to work on one of those days, with double pay as compensation. A standard workweek is 49 hours, with over 2 hours of overtime, resulting in 12+ hour workdays. Given the team's reliance on each member, declining overtime is often not a viable option.
