Pros

My managers and directors were great when I needed anything. Had a library full of useful info for customers and training

Cons

With it being WFH it felt at times you were on your own. Really lost that team identity. Spent more time changing AE’s and Managers since DocuSign was growing through the pandemic. Made it much harder to hit your numbers and you were constantly being moved to a different vertical. I was over 100% quota to interview for an AE position and went through all interviews to only be told that I had been laid off. I earned that AE position and now trying to find an AE position with no experience puts me in a grey area as recruiters and talent people are looking for experience and other MDR or BDR positions are looking for less experience and think I would jump ship if I took a lateral move.

Pros

Well-recognized name in the market. Conversations are always warm. Helpful to have the experience as well as to list the experience on a resume.

Cons

The layers of individuals involved in a sale is extreme and was very often upsetting to the customer. Management was often rude, condescending, and only concerned about a pipeline. Definitely too many cooks in the kitchen.

Pros

Great company culture, great benefits.

Cons

layoffs, and also no paid sick leave. I had to use my own PTO to take a sick day. As a salesperson, you are competing with many other products that provide the services DocuSign does that are much more affordable. The company has not adapted well to account for this. Promotions are hard to attain and are based off of business need rather than performance.
