The Leadership. The cancer starts at the top. The CEO has no integrity. Two or three of the top executives have little more integrity than the CEO. Because of this, Docutech has risen and fallen at least three times in the past. There seems to be a glass ceiling because of this.
Docutech has a rigorous hiring process. They aggressively look for people who will fit the culture. What that really means is they look for people who will not really challenge the status quo. While I was there, they hire constantly and laid off constantly. I saw at least six very qualified individuals brought in who had strong professional experience, but because of this, they recommended actions that challenged Docutech's strong-armed tactics. Within a year, all of these people had been laid off. A few long-term employees just said enough.
This type of management style trickles down to most of the mid-level management.
Oh, if you look at the positive reviews, anything 4 and above is probably a paid review. Look at the style of writing. They will be bullet points of great things but no emotional specifics. You can tell the difference. The real rating for this company is probably around 2.
