      Pros

      Great company to work for because of new technology development and continued dedication to fund R&D. Dolby is working to change the way people experience all audio and visual entertainment and they are dedicated to provide high quality technology to do it.

      Cons

      Growing fast so there are areas that tend to be chaotic.

      Pros

      Talented employees, leading edge technology, high innovative spirit. Frequent new product demos and events are sponsored internally, which gives employees first-hand, early preview of new technologies. On-site screening rooms provide employees and their families to watch movies with latest Dolby technology.

      Cons

      Not much to point out. The usual expected amount of politics in certain circles, but generally, people rally around common goals. At times, multiple projects compete for people's attention, and the overarching priorities are not clear.

      Pros

      Very intelligent engineers, every other Friday off, decent work/life balance, stable. Labs are great if you are lucky enough to get to use them. Good location for commuting.

      Cons

      Work areas are tiny, millions of managers, low pay relative to other local companies. Lots of kool aid drinking.
