Pros

Laways busy and keeps you moving all day!

Cons

No work/ life base , alot to do with no hours given to stores , un fair expectaions due to this. Uper managemnt have a lack of knowledge of whats going on in the store nor do they seem to know the product. Very small window for advancement most come from outside the company .Poor training for new managers only a week to two weeks before getting a store and then your on your own. NO training for new hourly employees..

Pros

not much that I have witnessed in the last 6 years

Cons

DG released its earnings to wallstreet the week before Christmas. They came in 3 cents above their projected number. That same day their stock feel 4 dollars a share.Got on MSN after work to find out why, the general concensus was that stockholders had no confidence in DG leadership. Take note corporate word has gotten out how you are running your company!
