Pros

Opportunities are endless, they provide the ability to grow and learn all facets of the business. The culture is what makes this company different than so many other big corporations. You are really able to control your own career growth if you are not afraid to work hard and you have the opportunity to be creative and suggest ways of improving the business. I have my dream job that i didn't even know was possible here but through hard work and great team results my leaders had faith in me and gave me the chance to keep improving the organization.

Cons

We really are a low cost operator and are very focused on saving the customer money and serving others. This does impact us but because we truly care about each other we still have fun! At times we all have a larger work load than some other corporations. This amount of work is for everyone within the organization- everyone works really hard. The Pro is that the training and growth you receive here is the most important. "Best career decision I made!"

Pros

there is NO Pros to working for this company!

Cons

Work alone ALOT, ( no wonder they get robbed all the time) very limited on payroll hours, only given 2 days to process your weekly truck with no help due to no payroll hours. Only 2 employees max. working at any given time. Only paid 2 holidays out of the year and thats only if you work a min of 4 hours on that holiday to receive the time and a half. Corporate has no win policies, They will NOT back you on its on policies when it comes to the customer. If the customer calls in and complains that they did not get what they wanted because you followed the policies, you are reprimanded for doing so, but if you get caught NOT following policy you also get reprimanded.(damned if you do damned if you dont) Hourly Management ( assistant managers and third key holders) do not get the required uninterrupted lunches and breaks nor are they allowed to leave the premises while on non paid lunches. They must perform refunds/exchanges/voids and run as a back up register while on lunches and breaks as cashiers are not allowed to do any voids, refunds or exchanges. Cashiers are hired at min. wage and are actually grunts, they are supposed to be the #1 key deterrent of theft at the front of the store and to greet every customer coming in, offer a cart and say Thank You to anyone who is leaving. All while being required to run the register, help customers find things, and answer questions, stock freight, recover the store, fill coolers, clean the bathrooms, sweep and mop the front of the store, clean all coolers, doors/windows, dust all fixtures and empty all trash. If you need to ask for a day off for something your better off to just call in sick because you wont get it off as you have to work for the need of the business. But aware if you call in sick, refuse to stay and work extra hours, refuse to travel and work in a different store or do anything your manager does not like the District Managers instruct the manager to cut yours hours to 4 hours a week until you quit. I have seen this done MANY times at the store I am in.
