Pros

Easy job. Goes by very quickly because there is always something to do

Cons

Store is VERY disorganized. The manager is so worried about getting 2000 boxes of freight out that he/she tells everyone to just get it on the shelves no matter what it looks like. Manager spends alot of time counting the boxes that someone else puts out and writing it down then getting mad that no one can do it in the allotted time. The pay is downright embarrasing. They spend too much energy on worrying about internal theft. I never shop in my own store because it is too time consuming to do so.

Pros

I'm a "people" person and you do get to interact with customers. Customers appreciate the price and available products.

Cons

Cheapest company I ever worked for. I was up for my yearly raise, my evaluation was good and my manager forwarded it to corporate. I watched my pay stubs for the raise that I never recieved. I asked my manager to check into it and was told that because the state we live in increased the minimum wage at the beginning of the year, prior to when my raise was due, the minimum wage increase covered my raise. I also found out today that those that worked Easter did not recieve premium pay because Easter is not considered a holiday that DT recognizes.
