Pros

Free coffee. They ordered pizza for management and offered the team leftovers once... oh yeah, there was cake once, too. Started working with good team members... then they started leaving.

Cons

Be warned: What you're told/sold for the role isn't what you're actually doing on a daily basis. You will primarily be responding to thousands of reviews and surveys weekly through multiple sites. There are only a handful of social media accounts, for which you will duplicate ads (not create new audiences or strategies based on KPIs) each week. NOT a good place to learn foundations or best practices as you start a digital marketing career. *No standardization - the human resource portal has an org chart which shows no less than three unique titles for individuals in this exact role: Account Manager, Prime Specialist, and Social Media Specialist. *No streamlined tracking systems, no organization, no protocols or processes in place when there is a problem or hiccup. *HIGH turnover: 9 people left in my first 90 days - just in this department. *Unmanageable account load: 80 accounts per "Specialist" - multiple team members raised concern about this and were told by management that a couple of solutions were "in the works" and asked to be patient. One week later, the same managers argued to the same team members that those solutions were not what was originally described/promised and could not be put in place because of the high turnover happening. *Micromanager with no team management experience is incompetent, lacking social skills and real-world perspective. Upper management says they are aware of this and asks for team members to be patient as they mentor and train.

Good Perks

Pros

Good perks with 401k, occasional working from home and opportunity for growth.

Cons

Management is disconnected, poor raises. Get your money when you negotiate salary because you won't get much after that.
