Terrible work environment with terrible people. Why would you make people come to the office to have meetings with people who are working remotely? It's one of the most ridiculous policies I've ever seen. Also it's pretty asinine.

Thank you for your honesty. We understand that not everyone agrees with the current hybrid work schedule we have in place, but after considering the 60% of our workforce that does not have the ability to work remotely and the fact that some of our teams are spread across our 16 state footprint, it was the best option avaliable. And will likely remain in place for the foreseeable future. That being said, we are trying to remain flexible and a lot of our groups have schedules in place that work best for them. As for our management, it is difficult for them to know how all of our 16,000+ employee feels at any given time, but I do hope you were able to attend one of the numerous Town Hall meetings our executives hosted while you were with Dominion Energy. These have been great forums to gauge employee engagement and for employees to ask questions directly to company leadership. In any case, thank you for your time with Dominion Energy and I wish you the best of luck in your career!

Great company to work for. Management is engaged in all aspects of the company and includes employees in the process. Ample opportunity to advance. Company is forward thinking and dedicated to their employees, community, environment, and shareholders.

Cons

There are no cons. Absolutely great company to work for. Very few people leave prior to retirement. Employees stay 20, 30, or 40 years due to job security, pay, benefits, and opportunities provided.

Many coworkers do not perform as a team; policies are not applied consistently; upper management is completely out of touch; they say they value feedback but employees are scolded for asking questions management doesn’t like

Thank your for your honesty! I am sorry that your overall experience with us has been a negative one. You are right in that we do have some great colleagues, but it is absolutely frustrating to not have your voice heard or to run into inconsistent policies. The past months have been a major learning period for the company and elements like teamwork and communication might have been impacted with the high level of current uncertainty we are all experiencing. However, the company is commented to a positive employee experience for everyone so I thank you for your patience and highly recommend taking this feedback to your HR representative. They will be able to provide better insight on how to potentially resolve some of these concerns. Thank you again!
