      Pros

      Company treats employees like family. Morale is good across the board, from corporate to the plant. Good work/life balance.

      Cons

      At the plant, there seems to be a push to go through Operations for upward movement into supervision. No clear career path for engineers who desire to remain in technical roles. Plant personnel expected to work extra hours during outages (comes with the territory though).

      Great opportunity to learn about the electric utility business. Opportunity to take on challenging projects and assignments. Good work life balance and excellent benefits.

      Cons

      Progression was slow and it seemed like regardless of performance they tried to keep all the engineers compensation around the same target based on years of service.
