      Helping people as in the paying customers.

      Terrible fake so called leadership, narcissistic supervisor/managers who will railroad you but won't fess up to their own wrong doings because their cowards, good old boys club attitude.

      Pros

      (SLC,UT) Having the choice to work unlimited OT or on-call, can be great money. Medical, dental etc are reasonable for being single with no children. Having different variation of job duties or tasks on a day to day or week to week basses is great (service, construction or industrial). Your day will not be boring. Yearly raise are bases on your performance, You do get yearly bonuses.

      Cons

      (SLC,UT) Operation department lacks diversity, inclusion, equity and sensitivity, it’s extremely poor as a department. From an entry level employee to management to upper management 98.99% are white and Mormon. If you the rare a person of color in the department, you will be overlooked. Over worked and underpaid for the responsibility and work technician have. The balance of work and life is poor. Management style is micro managing and micro aggressions. Non-union environment.

      Pros

      I work in IT at Dominion Energy and it has been a great place to work. Plenty of opportunity to learn new skills, and make a difference. The company is financially sound and focuses heavily on safety. They take their impact on the environment seriously and have great leadership at the top.

      Cons

      Dominion Energy is a very large company and there is some bureaucracy that comes with that.
