Plenty of overtime to work if you want to work it.

Cons

One of the lowest paying utilities and they have a pretty low work moral due to not putting much effort into employee care. It’s all about taking care of the shareholders.

There are excellent dental, vision, and health insurance options for people interested. If you're looking for retirement, the benefits are great with company match to a certain percentage.

Cons

There is no work-life balance in Northern Virginia. It's highly stressful, and you are constantly thrown into new projects without any guidance. The pay in Northern Virginia is not enough to satisfy you and live in the area. There's also a lot of favoritism. The tension and relationship between design, construction, and the customer can become overwhelming over time, and you will feel burnout.

I love working at Dominion because of the opportunities for training, new experiences, stable business, and awesome benefits.

Cons

It can be tricky to navigate opportunities between the individual Dominion Energy companies because each has its own culture. There is a lack of good leaders in mid-level management but the company is taking steps to improve.
