Pros

Pay rates and benefits were great.

Cons

Unqualified "manager" to run the place. It's all about who you know.

Pros

Co-workers are pretty good to work with.

Cons

Leadership doesn’t really care much. Big cash crunch now and they are treating everyone like they are kids with cost savings measures. No real plans to make things better, except to say focus on the basics and we will wait till the market gets better.

Good company to work for

Pros

Good benefits overall. They cover about 90% of paramedical (massage, physio, chiro, osteo, etc). There is the option to work from home with a hybrid model to go into the office a couple times a week. The offices in Montreal are central and easy to get to. Base vacation is 3 weeks, but always room for negotiation. They also offer summer hours at corporate. It's the best company I've ever worked for, and the leadership is very human and they care about their people. Safety and sustainability are core to the company's values. There are may long term employees in the company (15-25+ years), which is always an excellent sign. Many educated, caring and intelligent people work for this company.

Cons

I think the company could go the extra mile and offer condensed work weeks or summer hours option all year round. Many companies are moving forward with this model and increased productivity always accompanies this type of structure. If you don't want to lose top talent, want to accommodate the diversity of people and their various situations, then offering flexible work schedules could be an option.
