Disorganized, terribly run content team

Pros

Good salary, benefits, and other perks

Cons

TL;DR - Too political, disorganized, everything is rushed to market without any careful thought or uniformity. Design and Content roles require you to provide deliverables within very unreasonable timeframes--usually by the end of a meeting. There's no room to take on additional initiatives if your manager says "no," yet you're expected to constantly go above and beyond. And if you don't like having politics shoved down your throat at every chance, this isn't the environment for you. The content strategy team is by far the weakest link, with two people supporting a 5,000-person company. The way in which this team is run leaves no room for success, or even long-term survival. Content strategists who like order, organization, reasonable deadlines, and true partnerships with Product and Design need not apply.

Pros

Work from home Free lunch in office Pretty easy job There were a lot of pros

Cons

Management was a bunch of 20 year olds who acted 5 years old and if you didn’t suck up to them you weren’t “doing your job”. It was a huge kids club and not worth the hourly.
