Better than no job

Pros

Set your own schedule, no dress code.

Cons

Expereinced drivers get less compensation than someone doing their very first delivery. Its a bait ans switch kinda thing. They pay really well at first then the bonus per order goes down from $5 to $2 then $1. Plus they hire so any dashers in one area that you pretty much lose the schedule flexibility because you have to run all day long to make any real money and about 30-40% of that goes right back in your gas tank. Also the support department doesn't seem to give two hoots about helping dashers with issues--only with keeping the customers happy. And lets not forget the verbal abuse that you as a dasher will get from customers as well as the snotty teenagers that work in most fast food joints. Youd be better off working somewhere for minimum wage and saving the wear and tear on yourself and your vehicle.

Pros

It can barely keep you from starving

Cons

Gas prices and their low base pay, lots of no tip and very low base pay runs which puts you in the negative if you accept them, but if you don't they stop letting you work. Even if you go above and way beyond for this company, they still treat you badly. Compensation isn't enough, not enough work to sustain cost of gas/wear and tear on your car after their trial month of actually being able to earn when you first start, it get a bit odd with this company after their "honeymoon period', and they love to punish you by shutting you down for a month if you make any normal human error in a delivery...they site you with a "contract violation". Doing an amazing job with this company is a fruitless effort, they do not care about it or you. Best on your painstaking endeavor with this inhuman company.
