I liked the people I worked with in operations.

Cons

Company doesn't care about employees at all. They do not believe in supervision. If you make a suggestion to better the work place safety wise they tend to look down upon it if it cost any money or will have a reduction in production despite employee safety.

Decent salary, very smart technical people

Cons

Forced ranking system means performance reviews are based on political connections and popularity. Culture has gone downhill in recent years with a lots of talk about employees but little real action. Very challenging for outsiders to succeed due to the closed culture and arrogance of many top leaders. Good career path in manufacturing or technical but success in commercial is based on popularity, not results.

Pros

Give you a lot of training and tools to do your job. Co-workers are over all laid back. Management is very friendly.

Cons

Disconnect between management and what happens in the field. To much focus on safety and management systems. Understaffed inventory department creates ALOT of headaches in the maintenance/reliability department. Maintenance is understaffed and underfunded. Policies implemented recently are ten years ahead of their time. No transition phase implemented.
