      Competitive compensation and benefit, great training program

      Cons

      Too much big corporations politics. Not much diversity in thoughts. Corporate pressure affecting work life balance of leaders.

      Great place to launch a career

      Pros

      Great work/life balance and alot of autonomy over your roles at an early age. If you give good reason for the company to trust you and your judgement, you can really take your career where ever you'd like it.

      Cons

      Not much focus on HR's involvement with employees, succession planning and since Dow isn't integrated with oil, it's not as profitable as other Houston based petrochem companies thus, salaries seem to be lower.

      Benefits Co-workers are generally good to work

      Cons

      Management gives preferential treatment to certain employees for promotions. Management historically cuts costs to profitability rather grow revenues Stock price has been stagnant for past 10 years Job role inequalities. a lot of roles have much more responsibility but pointed less. Good ol boys club in management needs to change style. Locations are not very desirable.
