Draper lab is a place where you can have intellectual stimulation and work with cutting edge technologies. It is also a wonderfully stable environment to work with excellent benefits packages and job security.

Cons

Draper tends to be a bit beaurocratic and the culture of the environment is bland.

Pros

Most of Draper is high-tech R&D so there's lots of opportunity for challenging and fascinating work. Retirement plan is unbelievable - they put in $2 for every $1 you put in. Smart people who are good to work with.

Cons

Very difficult to advance through technical ranks. Although Draper is broken up into many different groups all working on different technology, management seems to play favorites with some groups as compared to others.
