Pros

Driver is extremely limited but a nice perk Benefits gym members, pto

Cons

pay is really bad for managers. the sales department makes 55k salary and manager makes 60k. they say they don't pay more because you get a driver. Then they restricted your driver a crazy amount, no more than 100 miles per unit. If you live 30 miles away you have to switch every day. And give you $60 a month for gas in your pay. So you might make 68k-75k a year maybe and we used to make 80-90k+. It is very possible for a sales agent to make more than a manager.

Thank you for sharing your experience as an Assistant General Manager. We’re glad to hear you appreciate the benefits, including the gym membership and PTO, as well as the driver perk. The DriveTime Family does have a compensation structure in place that reflects the overall package, which includes the driver benefit. The mileage restrictions and gas allowances are designed to balance resource allocation across the company, these policies are in place to ensure consistency and fairness. Thank you again for your input and for being part of the DriveTime Family!
