Pros

Cool looking salon and decent products but....

Cons

training is awful! No guidance. The managers need to do demos for new stylists if Drybar wants everything done in such a specific way.

Not a very rewarding job

Pros

Flexible, nothing else positive to say

Cons

Where do I start? We are encouraged to give over the top service. I have no problem with that but we are paid less than min wage. Customers are very rude and demanding. And they are allowed to be that way, all they have to do is complain that a stylist did not talk to them enough and they get free service. The concept of the business is good but if you treat your workers so bad it will eventually fail. I feel very sorry for the stylists in the shops.

Pros

There really isn't any pros to working at this place except for once in a blue moon getting an awesome client, otherwise you are just slaving away for minimum wage making somebody else rich.

Cons

Back to back blowdrys with no break, inexperienced managers who openly gossip about all their staff ,horrible products, business completely run off of hard working stylists who are paid worse than mcdonalds workers. If you think this is a good move for your career as a hairstylist just graduating beauty school please think again, do yourself a favor and get your foot in the door at a real salon being an assistant instead of this dead end place. 8.50 and hour is not worth the stress, potentially aching back and losing your passion for doing hair when you realize you could be pocketing the $40.00 they charge for a blowout when you get out there and build your own clientele
