Pros

Great products but that's about where it ends .. Setups of the salons waste space although they do look nice!

Cons

They have horrible labor saving tactics. You'll be asked to take a longer period during lulls which is unpaid so they can save $. You will be asked to leave early if it's slow and also told not to come in an hour and a half before your shift. I'm not sure of the legality of any of this.. There is Zero incentive to work harder except if you get good ratings you get $1 extra or if you want to move on to management so you can be extremely underpaid. Treatments you do that cost clients an extra $10 you get $1. Very labor intensive for zero recognition or reward.

Pros

Great for Students who just got there license. They train with pay. Offer hourly pay and tips. Commission earned from products sold. Good to master styling experience. Great for Second job. Co workers and Customers are friendly. fun environment. If you just want to style this is for you!

Cons

It limits your other skills of a cosmetologist, you do nothing but blow dry and style. You have to work fast to build up check, ( More people you service more tips!) Like all Companies Selling is often encouraged. Hourly Rate is to low to compensate for hard work that comes with job. Management is questionable because of immature staffing. Not considerate to employee emergencies, health issues and weather emergencies. Not good for long term employment unless you are on management team.

Pros

Meeting knew people. Enhancing your styling skills. Some clients are very kind. Pay and tips are good when it's good.

Cons

I came to Drybar very unbiased. I read all the employee reviews negative and positive. The atmosphere is very fake and competitive. If you are not a favorite management will have no qualms with letting you know that whether it be directly or indirectly and if you are a good stylist and management does not like you you will be taken advantage of and left to feel under appreciated. What's really sad about this is the founders have no clue that the mission statement that supports their business is being undermined by people who are not genuinely kind.
