Pros

The job shouldnt have been too difficult and it was in a nice clean environment (the idea of the job seemed better than reality)

Cons

half the stylists seem very sweet up front but were actually rude very incompetent manager who makes things harder lead to me quitting on the spot

Pros

Amazingly sweet owners, product discount is generous, free blowout styles from coworkers, tips, flexible scheduling when needed but a set schedule you can plan around.

Cons

Overbooking on the busy days, sitting around for hours during the slow times, really tall chairs that make styling difficult for even the tallest stylists (me!), rigid styling rules that do not work for a lot of clients, strict timing of client appointments that can be unreachable, very low wages that do not reflect the amount of work being done or the stylists experience level ($10 per hour plus tips), high turnover
