Not What You Think

Pros

Flexible with days and hours

Cons

You're told one thing when you start and it ends up being very different. First of all, why do we need to clock out for a half hour break if we're not even working an 8 hour shift? Our tips should be given to us at the end of each night. We're not making minimum wage. Things are very unorganized. I think it could be more professional. Not once since I started has someone asked me how I'm doing and if I need help learning anything. You're basically just thrown into working right away without the proper training and knowledge.

Most clients tip well, if you’re busy you’re golden.

Cons

If it’s slow you make next to nothing, you basically rely on tips.
