Pros

Great co workers, free blowouts for yourself, half off products and gift certificates (there's a limit though) great for recent beauty school grads, you can hand out your business cards

Cons

OUCH. After doing back to back blow dries hours all day, or begins to take a toll on your body, especially your back and wrist. To quote one of the "educators" after l mentioned I have been hearing other hairdressers were experiencing pain and how to prevent or treat the situation, she said: "I guess you can go to the chiropractor or something I don't know...we've never heard anything about that so..." YEAH RIGHT. Basically you get paid minimum wage to deliver a service a person down the street at a full service salon gets commission for AND tip. And don't even get me started on the "chores" you must complete before you clock out. the only reason I stay is for the free blowouts.

Pros

There's plenty of opportunities to move ahead in the company. Fast paced and I love all my coworkers. Overall good company and very humble founder.

Cons

They don't allow enough labor hours. You can almost always expect to be clocked out because there isn't enough hours.

Pros

Awesome coworkers, cute atmosphere, set schedule, occasionally you get a cliente that's SO appreciative of what you did to their hair and that feels good.

Cons

Snobby clientele, very very low pay for the amount of work they expect you to do, no set break times or lunch. Very tedious work, make you you LOVE doing just blowouts before you work here.
