Pros

Currently the benefits are excellent and the pay is above average. Start with a prorated two weeks of vacation and unlimited (within reason) sick time plus 3 personal days.

Cons

Due to the recent corporate consolidation, any Cincinnati job deemed corporate is being transitioned to Charlotte, NC. This includes most of legal, IT, human resources, and accounting and finance.

Pros

This is absolute and total garbage!

Cons

I worked at this company for a period of time and left due to a workplace culture that repeatedly tolerated racially insensitive behavior. I personally witnessed and experienced comments and treatment that crossed professional boundaries and created a hostile environment. When concerns were raised, leadership either minimized the issue or treated it as a “communication problem” rather than addressing the behavior directly. HR processes felt inconsistent and offered little meaningful accountability. The result was a workplace where certain employees were protected while others were expected to “deal with it,” which negatively impacted morale and retention. If you value psychological safety, fairness, and professionalism, I would be extremely cautious before joining. This organization has potential, but it needs major cultural change and stronger leadership standards to become a healthy place to work.

Pros

-Strong “safety first” culture -Opportunities for career growth if you are proactive -Communication has been improving -Great coworkers and supportive peers

Cons

-Constant changes in management and high employee turnover -Poor training; you must rely on self-learning -STI (Short-Term Incentive) bonus is unreliable and consistently reduced due to safety incidents -Storm duty is mandatory with no exceptions for vacations or medical issues, requiring 16-hour days until restoration is complete -Salaried employees are treated like hourly employees, but receive no overtime pay; only straight time after exceeding 45 hours in a week -Hybrid roles require in-office presence 3 days per week with no fully remote options -Lack of flexibility in accommodating personal commitments during storm events
