      Pros

      Compensation is fair and work environment is great. Supervisors and individual contributors do not suffer from the hidden tensions that I have seen at previous employers.

      Cons

      Upward mobility is limited. People enjoy where they work and with down sizing are less likely to move.

      Pros

      Extremely stable and consistent projects means work will always be available. Plus the tools learned on the EMS side are used across the country.

      Cons

      Duke is so large that it's tough to not get lost in the fray. Managers are not always local, so relaying work load is difficult.
