      Pros

      Duke Energy has a good work life balance and is fairly stable. Many of the people working there are very friendly and are great to work with.

      Cons

      Duke Energy's compensation is not that great and would be considered lacking by most. To make matters worse, you will be working alongside contractors who often will make more than you because they are paid hourly rather than salary. Duke Energy also suffers from being over run with bureaucracy. Everything you do at Duke Energy will involve having navigate some convoluted process. You will spend more time dealing with bureaucracy than actually completing your work.
