Pros

Stable career, excellent pay and great benefits, will not be doing the same thing every day, good retirement possible with sound investments.

Cons

Stress, rotating 12 HR shifts, very physical, exposure to heat, cold, noise, chemicals and radiation, little to no room for upward mobility, stress not worth the great pay.

Great benefits and' in general, very good people.

Cons

Horrible management! The company has gotten so large that no one really knows what's going on. In general, people are not treated well at all. There is no room for challenging management, so everyone just "does what they're told to do".

Pros

Good salary, uptown restaurants good for lunch.

Cons

Pay - very good but not fair across departments for employees with the same job title and function. Very dependent on your first-line manager (they pick your salary/bonus/pay increases manually). Great if you get a good manager...not so great if you get a bad one. Work-life balance - same as with the pay...some managers are lenient and others are total micromanagers. Just luck of the draw. Career Opportunities - basically none at this time due to a hiring freeze. Company seems more focused on the bottom line than on creating opportunities for growth. Facilities - no windows or views of the outside world unless you are a manager or have been at the company for 20+ years to "earn" a window seat.
