Pros

The energy industry is a good place to be if you are looking for steady employment and if you are willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.

Cons

Moving on and up in your career is not based on employees knowledge, skills and abilities but about who you know. That is the reason why a lot of talent walks out of the door. Too much cronyism.

Pros

Welcoming environment, approachable management, co-workers who are willing and quite capable of providing assistance. Smart, engaged workforce. Really good place to work.

Cons

Although it operates in a seemingly-monopolistic environment, its oversight by regulators renders it subject to budget and revenue constraints, too, perhaps more stringent that those found in a private or otherwise publicly-traded company.
