Pros

Duke Energy is a great place to learn and work as a co-op student. Ample opportunity to learn and advance in field of work/study is provided and many of the same benefits and opportunities available to regular full-time employees are also made available to co-op students.

Cons

The inability of local management to offer or guarantee a co-op student a full-time job upon graduation can be frustrating.

Sometimes getting new projects to work on took a while, leaving little to do but twiddle thumbs.
