Working with clients they teach you so much and bring so much joy to you life

Cons

Consumerism: money talks, especially if you are lucky enough to be able to advocate for yourself. I worked with staff that routinely slept on the job, had men over to sit out front of residence for hours, and was attacked by a fellow staff. These incidences were documented and reported to management and management refused to do anything about it.

I lasted a week, training at the main office went fine. My first day of shadowing, no one showed up, second day, the girl had no idea she was training me and spent the whole day talking crap about the company, then they expected me to be on my own after that....wtf not enough hands on training, these are people's lives in this companies hands. BBB definitely needs to be called.

Not any pros that I can bring to mind.

Over worked, under paid, under trained, horrible management, and a non existent drug policy. Care leaves a lot to be desired. Staff is not properly trained and much of the responsibility is put on staff that should have medical training such as a CNA. Honestly, I wouldn't even recommend care through dungarvin. They are the slum of in home care. They need to be evaluated and forced to make a complete over haul to their entire service. It definitely does not help to see employees stepping out for breaks and smoking weed. Would you really want someone caring for you who is under the influence of drugs? Would you really want your team to be drug addicts?
