If you have a good manager, it's kind of a decent place to work

Cons

Power struggle with management, most staff stay on their phones, or bring blankets to sleep on the couch. Clients begging staff to be able to get out of the house. On-call is useless. Staff don't care enough to show up. Management was discriminatory towards non-African staff they don't technically have health insurance, the company just pays part of your bill. The "health insurance" company they go through makes it impossible to find practitioners for mental health, mostly just tele-health

Pros

Work is meaningful, helping vulnerable adults, amazing coworkers & supervisor. Good work/home ratio, casual dress code. Thorough training for new hires.

Cons

Horrible benefits and pay is @ the lowest can get away with. Very common for employees to go work elsewhere after getting some time in to earn a better salary & benefits. No bonus structure in place for no audits, suspensions or fines from the state, don’t give bonus incentives period. I only took pay so low due to having my spouses income to combine and I had a gap in my resume so figured that’d be a problem with some employers.
