Pros
They make sure you are a productive person, making coffees as quickly as possible while also maintaining a conversation with a stranger. You make great money in tips, around the holidays people tip like crazy. Tips are like half your paycheck so it is worth it if you can work a decent amount of hours.
Cons
They play up this wonderful idea of having so many friends and everyone becoming friends but honestly, it does not happen that way. Majority of the people that I have worked with, which is a lot because the turn over rate is crazy, are genuinely some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. I have seen so many new people leave because of the toxicity of the culture there. They say that they do not tolerate gossip but let me tell you, there will ALWAYS be people gossiping. These people could not complain more, every little thing that goes slightly wrong, they complain about. I was a shift lead and I never stopped hearing about how someone did whatever and how they are so lazy and not good at their job at all.
