Pros

Other employees are great to work with. Remote work opportunities

Cons

No room to advance / no promotions even after about 7 years of hard work. No bonuses, Pricey benefits. Product is good but other companies are or have caught up and competition is getting more aggressive. Small raises.

Product Marketing is a disaster

Pros

Great teammates, nice engaged coworkers, market-leading product, working with lots of smart people

Cons

Leadership is nonexistent. The Product Marketing team spent most of the past year wasting half our time in pointless, yet endless mandatory team meetings about things as inane as internal descriptions for PR topics, while then being grilled about why nobody was getting their work done. More recently, the team now just gets dumped on to do everything, as there’s no filter keeping other teams (and executives) from endlessly piling more work on. The exec team is fully aware that there’s nobody running the PMM team, but they pretend they don’t see that - instead demanding to know why projects haven’t been completed while making no effort to relieve the workload that’s been placed on the team. In short, it’s evolved from a culture of bullying, delusion, and micromanagement to having no management or direction at all.

Some of the best the business Very sharp SE team Supportive deal desk.

Cons

You are on your own, thrown in the deep end. Sales management is weak. No sales culture. No place to go for questions. If you book a large deal, they will string out payment. Poor commission structure.
