Thank you for posting! Yes, work/life balance can be tricky. We strive to encourage employees to work with their managers should hours need adjusting or projects become too demanding. As we look to return to the office, we will keep working remote as an option and a built in every week, so that may help people to balance needs at home with being in the office and with colleagues. Thanks again, Debbie.

Pros

Flexible schedules Easy work that an intern could do Easy to get hired Unlimited vacation policy (in theory)

Cons

Lots of layoffs with merger - shows where employees rank on management priority list. Upper management doesn't seem to care about pay disparities between BluJay and E2Open employees after merger. Work is unchallenging and won't prepare you for your next job Pay is low compared to industry standard Archaic technology stacks in most projects Not very diverse

Thank you for sharing feedback. When two large organizations come together, there will be a number of roles that are redundant. This was a low percentage of the whole, and all those impacted with job loss were given a transition period with a retention bonus and a severance package. In several cases, new jobs were secured for those impacted. In addition, outplacement support was provided for any employee who wanted assistance. Salary reviews occur in March/April where managers will be provided with market data to make informed decisions on base pay increases for all employees. Any employee who is not challenged by their job is encouraged to speak to their manager and ask for more opportunity or a new challenge. At E2open, we believe employees help drive careers, so please do talk with your manager or department head to take on more. It is a clear way to advance in one's career by raising your hand to take on more challenge. SVP, HR
