Good company overall

Pros

Great company ideals, fairly engaged management, active DEI program, excellent remote options

Cons

Fate of employees doing federal contract work very much tied to federal government; government RIFs have a trickle-down effect, even if the company swears they won't.

Pros

Great job for folks right out of college. Lots of good opportunities and fun fieldwork.

Cons

After a few years, your work/life balance can get bad, especially when understaffed. You can gain a lot of responsibilities without an increase in pay. You only get a handful of holidays and no sick time. 3 weeks of PTO doesn't go very far when you have to use it for everything.
