Pros

EA lacks mid-level employees so you will be given a lot of responsibility fairly quickly that you may not get at a larger, better staffed, consulting firm. Great for building your resume. Travel is nice.

Cons

Pay isn't competitive and is below average. Masters education doesn’t matter at EA, you will be paid the same as someone fresh out of their undergrad. Limited training or guidance from seasoned staff or Project Managers. Mentorship program is undeveloped and everyone’s workload is too heavy to provide any real guidance. DEI training was a joke to senior staff and many insensitive things are said around the office. Toxic gossip amongst senior staff and no direct constructive criticism is given. Workload is overwhelming.

Pros

Great people, good benefits, ESOP, Billable overtime paid at normal rate. A great place to start your career.

Cons

Difficult place to advance your career - Little promotion from within, minimal opportunities for professional growth. With an MS you will be doing the same work as anyone with a BS. Understaffed and little reception to increasing positions to reduce workload to reasonable levels. Work/life balance is not a priority here even though it is a pillar of their core values as advertised on their website. Company does very well every year, but you need to push hard for a raise, maybe even threaten to leave.
