Pros

Flexible hours when classes are available. When I started there was no cap on hours and they paid a Christmas bonus. Now they only send you messages to tell you you're not getting paid for something.

Cons

It was getting tough to get hours. The only feedback I received for staff was from reports. The only feedback from students was usually a number. Students that didn't give a 1 or a 2 rarely let you know why they were unhappy. When you ask for help they tell you to listen to recordings. Classes never become available the same time each week and if you don't reserve them yourself you just get the scraps. And the students are mostly in classes beyond there level and are being passed by the high rated teachers.

Pros

The only reason to work for EF is career development, if you can get yourself into a mid-level management position or higher. You get a lot of responsibility from day 1, which is great for training and getting yourself closer to moving to a different company which pays fairly.

Cons

The company lacks maturity. They don't value their employees. Every month I see amazing people walk out the door for jobs that pay better and don't require 60-70+ hour weeks. This is their biggest challenge as a business. I'm surprised they have managed to grow despite this issue.

Pros

Free housing. Had fun with students. Got to go to places I would have never before Some of the employees were nice

Cons

Minimum wage, a corporate mindset, lying to customers, only caring about money, lack of empathy and mental health awareness by managerial staff
