Great to see that you enjoyed your time with EF. Since this review doesn't include a location or job title, it's difficult to comment on the competitiveness of the salary, but we do review our compensation packages annually to benchmark with industry standards, so salaries can vary by location and role. Thanks for taking the time to share!

Pros

Was a good training company at the beginning and good student base- good bonuses on the kids teaching platform, had a good mentor early on when worked for the company, a good place to learn initially.

Cons

Became much more corporate, not enough classes or availability , management didn't really care about welfare and well being of staff mental health etc, A complex and unfair process about resolving technical difficulties with the classes, looking to keep money and not pay out to staff who had technical difficulties or reprimand students who had technical difficulties or not shown up to a class.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to write about your previous experience working with EF Teach Online. If there are technical issues with the platform, we are able to support teachers and students promptly. Teachers have a dedicated team managing a customer-service ticketing system to ensure all queries are responded to as soon as possible, and students have a similar system available with their own dedicated multi-lingual team. It’s case by case, but if an issue arises on the teacher’s side, teachers may not be compensated if the class could not be taught. However, if the problem is clearly on our side—for example, if the site goes down—we proactively update class statuses and ensure teachers are compensated, even if no report is submitted. Our goal is always to resolve issues quickly and fairly. But if this was not the experience you had, we encourage you to reach out to hr@ef.com so we can properly address your specific case (especially your comments around lack of respect or regard for welfare, as that is highly concerning). Thanks again.
